Drummond Hearing is an independent private audiology clinic in London, run by senior audiologist Scott Drummond (BSc Audiology, HCPC and RCCP registered). Scott has been Head of Audiology at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital in Kensington since 2010 and consults privately from clinics at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital (SW5) and Visit Health, 1 Blythe Road (W14).
We consult from two central London locations: the Bupa Cromwell Hospital, 164–178 Cromwell Road, Kensington SW5 0TU, and Visit Health, 1 Blythe Road, London W14 0HG. Both are a short walk from Earl's Court, West Kensington and Kensington (Olympia) stations.

An initial consultation at Drummond Hearing is £150 for a 60-minute appointment. This includes video otoscopy, pure-tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry (middle-ear function), and personalised results and recommendations.
At Drummond Hearing, premium hearing aid pairs are £4,750 (GN ReSound), £5,190 (Starkey), and £5,750 (Phonak). Every price is for a pair and always includes a year of follow-up appointments, an extended five-year manufacturer warranty, and a trial period of at least 30 days.
Microsuction ear wax removal at Drummond Hearing is £120 for both ears, in a 30-minute appointment. Video otoscopy is included before and after so you can see exactly what has been removed.

Yes. Every hearing aid fitting at Drummond Hearing includes a 60-day trial period, so you can wear the aids in your own home, work and social environments before deciding. If they are not right for you, they can be returned or exchanged within the trial period. Demonstrations of Starkey, Phonak and GN ReSound are available at both the Bupa Cromwell Hospital in Kensington and at Visit Health on Blythe Road.
Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio streams universally to both iPhone and Android via classic Bluetooth. Starkey Edge AI and GN ReSound Vivia stream directly to iPhone and to compatible Android devices that support Bluetooth LE Audio or Android Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA).

Yes. Microsuction is the gold-standard method for ear wax removal recommended by ENT surgeons and audiologists. It uses gentle suction under a microscope, involves no water, and is performed with video otoscopy before and after. Every microsuction at Drummond Hearing is carried out by Scott Drummond himself.
A first fitting typically takes 60–90 minutes: real-ear measurements to verify the aids are set correctly for your hearing, insertion training, smartphone pairing where relevant, and time to answer questions. Follow-up fine-tuning appointments are shorter and are included in the price for the first year.
Consultations at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital are covered by all major UK private medical insurers, including Bupa, AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, WPA and Cigna, subject to your individual policy. Hearing aids themselves are usually a self-pay purchase.
